Hill And Go Seek Raised Awareness and more than $1500 for Ready, Willing & Working

Despite Dunk Tank malfunctions and a heat index of 95 degrees, the first annual Hill and Go Seek, held Saturday August, 28th was a huge success.
80 teams of two signed up for the first-of-its-kind bike event, including Ward 6 Council Member Tommy Wells who recorded the whole race for TommyTV

The teams started from Eastern Market Merto Plaza and raced throughout the Hill stopping at businesses such as Wisdom to paint on the Mural, or at Capitol Hill Bikes to test their bike maintenance skills.
Available online is the best-of video by Matt McClain from the Karaoke challenge in front of Tunnicliffs. Check out the teams as they sang such classics as “Under Pressure” by David Bowie and Queen, and “Pressure” by Billy Joel.
