Jump Start Your Spring Cleaning – Recycle Old Electronics and Help the Homeless

Giving a new meaning to “going green” on St. Patrick’s Day, the Capitol Hill BID is partnering with the Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV) for the first annual E-Cycle computer electronics recycling event on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 7:00am until 6:00pm. The event provides the homeless and unemployed with jobs and skills through refurbishing and recycling electronics, and will be held at the CCNV Homeless Shelter, 425 Second Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 (rear parking lot off E Street). Ink cartridges, toner, laptops, LCD monitors and P4 & Duo Core PCs are needed the most!
