DC BID Council Director’s OpEd About BIDs and Their Homeless Outreach Efforts

In addition to providing a full-time homeless outreach ambassador, the Capitol Hill BID also provides paid-work opportunities to formerly homeless and incarcerated individuals through the Ready, Willing & Working (RWW) program. Since 2008, RWW has provided dozens of men with meaningful employment and the supportive services necessary to help them become productive, contributing members of society and fathers to their children.
